Anti-Human Trafficking
It starts with the promise of a better life. The parents and families are taken in. The children are persuaded. When they leave home they do so willingly, with some excitement, not trepidation. The trafficker has promised a good job, a good education, a regular income. But that is not how it works out. There are over 100,000 Nigerians women and underage girls working as prostitutes in Europe. 90% of them are from Edo State...Education, Skills acquisition, awareness are some of the preventive measures ENA plans to implement to help reduce this modern day slaver
ENA is currently developing a policy statement and solutions to address this critical issue.
